Your support goes directly toward our work helping give vulnerable young people better life chances. But it also has wider benefits, supporting system-wide change across education and beyond, to embrace diversity, broaden all pupils’ experiences, and create a ripple effect that opens minds and builds connections. These goals, always key to our purpose, are now more important than ever. Thank you for helping us reach them!

Donations to RNCSF enable us to contribute a small grant (typically £5,000 per pupil p/a) to leverage significant fee remission provided by the schools themselves: for every £1 a donor invests, we leverage, on average, £9 of school support, amplifying your contribution to deliver greater impact for the young people we work with.

Donations: the multiplier effect

Since our core operating costs are covered, when someone donates to RNCSF, they can be reassured that their money directly supports a pupil placement. It also acts as a multiplier, with every £1 donated leveraging around £9 of support from independent schools.

By making a monthly or annual donation to RNCSF, you can support young people throughout the year. It's easy - fill in this quick online form to set up your regular donation.

If you have any questions or would like to make a larger one-off donation, please let us know so that we can support you accordingly; admin@royalspringboard.org.uk

What are the different types of gifts I can leave in my will?

Share of your estate

This is a percentage of your estate after all other gifts and expenses have been paid. Many people choose to add a percentage of their estate to RNCSF as this means our gift remains in proportion to what they want to leave to loved ones.

A specific sum

This is a gift of a set amount of money.

A specific item

This could be something of value such as jewellery, a painting, property or shares.

Are gifts to charity in my will Inheritance Tax free?

Yes, at the moment, if you leave a gift to RNCSF in your will it will not be included when valuing your estate for Inheritance Tax purposes. The value of your gift will be deducted from your estate before Inheritance Tax is applied. However, Inheritance Tax rules can change so it’s always best to discuss your will and the type of gift you might like to leave with your solicitor.

“We had our first set of interns in early 2024. My goodness, they were impressive, and our staff have said they were fantastic and would have hired them like a shot. When they graduate, they should come back and see us.” ~ Corporate Partner
