Webinar: Widening Access to Bursaries in the Context of
Tuesday 23rd February, 1:30 – 2:30pm
COVID-19 has had a cataclysmic effect on the lives of all young people, but particularly those who were already facing circumstances of disadvantage and vulnerability. As evidence emerges of the widening educational divide through the pandemic, the role of the boarding and independent sector in playing its part in helping to bridge this gap has been thrown into particular light.
We will be holding a live online panel event, hosted by broadcaster, Mishal Husain, with our Royal Patron, HRH The Princess Royal, our CEO Ali Henderson and three ‘SpringBoarders’ – alumni and current pupils – on Tuesday 23rd February (1:30-2:30pm).
Our panel will explore the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on young people and how we - and our boarding school partners - are continuing to transform individual lives and shift aspirations in some of the UK’s most challenging communities.
