Ali Henderson has taken over the role of CEO at Royal SpringBoard, after Ian Davenport, the founding CEO, stepped down at the end of February. Ali brings over 15 years’ experience of leading programmes and policies to address social inequality, having worked for the UK Government Department for International Development (DfID) in programme management roles, as well as undertaking high level policy and influencing work as Private Secretary to Development Ministers and in the Foreign Policy Unit at 10 Downing Street as Private Secretary to the Prime Minister. Ali moved into the charity sector where she worked for Oxfam for 5 years in a variety of operational effectiveness, business transformation and strategic planning positions. Prior to becoming CEO, Ali led Royal SpringBoard’s focus on impact and learning.
